APPLICATIONS OF EXTRUDED BATTS

Beijing Trend Industrial Ceramics Co.,LtD. Has been producing extruded batts since 1999,annual production is approximately 1200 ton and we have become one of the leading producers in the world. Extruded batts are mainly used in the manufacturing of sanitary ware and crystallized glass pancls.
MATERIALS:
TRECOR or TREMON is usually used for sanitary ware and TREHENis usually used for crystallized glass panel. Others are available on request. SUPPORT:
In order to optimize the benefits of extruded batts, SiC beams are recommended to support the batt along the uprightness of the hole.the optimum distance between two SiC beams is half length of extruded batt plus 50mm ¨C100mm. Traditional support methods with three or four points support is used in the production of sanitary ware, but not in crystallized glass panels.
PERFORATED:
To improve air flow.the batte can be drilled on the top surface in customers request,, all holes on the top surface batts or underside surface are arranged in a staggered way that can ensure high strength andminimal contamination.
CUTOUTS;
For sanitary ware produced in a shuttoe kiln, extruded batts around the props usually need to be cut . The cut often has a radius angle, thus minimizing cracking.

Extruded batts are mainly used in production of crystallizedglass panel and saintaryware.They have a range of advantages compared with conventional solid batts:
A. The weight is reduced by 35%-50% and carrying capacity is greatly raised. For example, a 38mm-thick estruded batt weighs approximately the same as a 23mm-thick solid batt, but the formerĄ¯s carrying capacity is 5 times the latterĄ¯s.
B. Energy saving is significant. Production data indicate that in shuttle kilns to fire crystallized glass panel with extruded batts, fuel consumption can be lowered by 30%-70%.
C. Less bending distortion in high temperature. If our 1200mm-long extruded batts are supported by SiC beams, there is almost no distortion during service, which can definitely ensure the flatness of large size ceramic-glass panel.
D. For the same batt size, extruded battĄ¯s heat-exchange surface is 2 times as solid battĄ¯s. So extruded batts have better thermal shock resistance and a longer service life, also can be used in fast firing of ceramic products.
